We've just finished our series on Biblical Prosperity Discovering the Love of God in Our Finances &
How to Increase Even in Famine. It was based on the scripture from Psalm 115:14...
"The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children."
There were 5 steps we followed based on the understanding that the Kingdom of God is goverened by "seedtime and harvest".
The first step - Get Planted - find the field that God has assigned you to sow in..i. e. the local church. .The second step - Tithe faithfully...this is a command from the Lord of Hosts and it is repeated in the New Testament. The third step - Sow seeds for the harvest - it's not always 'how much' we sow as to 'how' we sow. The fourth step - Work the harvest - this involves the power of the tongue. Your tongue is your sickle to bring in the harvest .The fifth step - Have a plan for the harvest - Be a good steward of what you have & have a vision or plan for your increase.
We had a great time the last Thursday sharing over lunch. Each of us expressed our thoughts and prayers concerning step five...having a plan or vision for increase. We also agreed there are many ways to increase and our desire was to increase our ability to hear Him.We are not meeting this summer...but will be back in the fall, after Labor Day. I hope you will check in on the web page often as this will be my mode of communication. I am enjoying a study of the daily Proverbs recently and look forward to sharing a few points each day with you concerning them.
Remember:
It doesn't matter where you are, or what you have...it's what you do with where you are and what you have. Mix 'where you are and what you have' with the wisdom and love of God...and bear fruit with...where you are and what you have!
